The co-occurrence of the COVID-19 pandemic and HIV/AIDS poses unique challenges for university students, impacting awareness, testing behaviors, and prevention efforts. This systematic literature review examines the impact of COVID-19 on HIV/AIDS prevention among university students and identifies effective strategies to mitigate its effects. Findings reveal decreased awareness levels and testing uptake among students, exacerbated by disruptions to traditional education and limited access to healthcare services. Virtual approaches and community-based interventions emerge as vital alternatives, leveraging technology and peer support networks to maintain engagement and access to resources. However, barriers to accessing testing services persist, including fear of COVID-19 exposure and economic constraints. The review highlights the importance of adapting prevention efforts and calls for collaborative action among policymakers, educators, and healthcare providers to implement effective strategies for mitigating the impact of COVID-19 on HIV/AIDS prevention among university students. Addressing gaps in the literature and prioritizing research on long-term impacts are essential for informing future interventions and fostering healthier campus communities
